When I’m asked what I paint with, the answer is easy; acrylic paint, inks and markers mostly.
When I’m asked what kind of subjects I paint, I feel like my answer falls flat; abstract city and landscapes, I guess. That’s just how they usually turn out.
It’s rare to be asked how I paint.
I do my best work with loud music because I’m singing through an open throat with the full power of my lungs.
I do my best work on my feet because I’m dancing with my entire body.
I do my best work with no plan because I overthink things and I like to see what my singing, dancing body will do next… free from thought… free from any perceived judgement of others.
So I do my best work when I’m alone… at the top of my lungs, with the freedom of movement, watching to see what happens next.
